I'm drinking diet coke.
In the meantime, I'm working (at a bar), watching people get drunk and gamble their lives away. (hopefully tipping me when they win).
Oh, the cushy life of a keno writer.

It's so awesome to have South American friends that can bring you back various foods by the crate.

You can buy it now in the United States, but when I was in Ecuador (August 1983) we drank
Inca Kola all the time.
There was a story about how a man from New York City went down to Quito. He tried some and thought it tasted pretty good. He brought a couple of bottles to take home.
When he got home, he took the kola to a chemist's office. Two day later, the chemist sent him a reply:

Culligan softened, then carbon filtered, water. And a lot of it at that.

Fair Trade certified organic hot tea, made with reverse osmosis water. Which I figure surprises no one. However, I did brew it in the microwave!

not at this particular moment, but
Dr Pepper (original or cherry/vanilla)
Sprecher Root Beer or Orange Dream Soda
Whatever Sprecher beer I happen to have in my stash.
It's a long way from KC to Milwaukee, but I have a couple of friends and friends of friends who go there periodically.
Best Root Beer anywhere; Best Orange Soda in the universe; Beer is maybe a quarter tone below the best anywhere...it's fantastic too. If you're ever in Milwaukee, take the tour.
