No.
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

A cup of coffee, from an estate in Hawaii, fresh ground. Surprisingly, I preferred the medium roast here to the dark roast (yes, I sampled 14 coffees before deciding on the "medium roast Estate" before choosing. The trip to Hawaii was in March; this is the first cup from the Greenwell Heritage Coffee Farm. Very good.

I have yet to find consistently good coffee since moving back to New England. As a result I just ordered 3 pounds of Sentinel Coffee from Gustavus, Alaska, which is my all time favorite roaster.

However what I HAVE found since being back here is Downeast Cider. Beer gives me dramatic reflux more often than not, so the cider has been a really nice find.

I would just paste the picture but this forum does not support that. Oh well.

Has a caffeine kick and a theonine mellower. Great combo.

(But not what I'm drinking. I can't really type while drinking, but I did very recently have my lunch espresso. Coffee from Colombia, roasted by me on the front porch, with a heat gun on a rainy night.)

PS - latest "drinking" drinking has been Banhez "Ensemble" mezcal - mix of espadin and barril, good mezcal type flavor, less harsh than some of the comparably priced mezcals I've had.

Coffee. Black, dark, puts manly hair on your chest, tasty coffee.
Freshly ground beans "Reanimator", brewed in a double-walled stainless steel french press. Would go great with a shot of Irish Whiskey.
