I have one of each in the showroom right now, and the 36 is a little more narrow.

While I'm on it, how about Yamaha basses?
If you are asking how Yamaha basses play, I haven't been disapointed with mine in 3 years of playing (As in my signature, I have a YBL-613H. Discontinued, but a very good horn.) I think that the slide is wide, like a Bach, but I have nothing to compare it with, so don't quote me on it.
