It's good that you're OK, but the rest sure looks ugly... :D
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

All is well with myself. Tuben has been active since the storms, so he's ok. I haven't heard from or about Tubadork, I'm assuming all is fine with him as well.

Friday was South of me by 15 miles and Saturday went North by the same. I did get threatened by the venue police at a rehearsal Friday night when I parked my car under a gazebo thing. I remeinded them that this was just a rehearsal and the crowds would not be using the sidewalk for 24 hours. They threatened to have it towed anyway so I moved it to the parking lot into the teeth of an oncoming hailstorm. Got lucky. Small hail that was over quickly. Downtown is a mess.

Funny story of the storm...

Around 3.15p Saturday afternoon, I was sitting at home watching the constant weather updates and coverage. Then Glen Burns said there was hail estimated at 3.5" in diameter coming directly over my apartment complex/area at 3.45p. I have no garage nor could I think of a shelter to park my car to avoid expensive damage. I decided the best plan of action based on the location of the storm was to get in my car and drive south and then wait before I come home. The plan worked, my car wasn't damaged, but there also wasn't softball sized hail falling from the sky.

As I've told many this story I say this...If I'm not going to park near a baseball field for fear of a baseball shattering my windshield, I'm definitely not going to leave my car parked where there are softballs falling out of the sky!!!

Here is a link to a photo of the tornado as it hit downtown Atlanta. The funnel cloud is on the left, just to the right of the tower with the lighted cone on top. Scary stuff! The two residential sections of town that it hit are two of our poorest. Vine City and Cabbagetown are just beginning to see the resurgence that has taken over most of the rest of the city center in the last 10 years. They didn't need this. Lots of uninsured losses.

my best bet may very well be to try to out run it.
Nah. Just honk your musical Boomer Sooner horn. That'll scare that sissified Texas storm away.
