I was a grad assistant for Bob Foster during some of his last years at KU (the beginning of the end?)...during that time I got to play with their very fine basketball pep band...it's quite a treat getting to do that in Allen Fieldhouse with such a traditional basketball power.

I just got a mental image of Joe swinging a silver King sousaphone left and right whilst playing "Stand Up and Cheer"...hilarious.

Bloke, you sound like you have a bit of clairvoyant talent. My wife and son have a bit of this as well. It scares my son and he refuses to discuss it. My wife takes it as it comes and rarely makes any predictions. But when she does, I have learned to listen to her.
If these premonitions, feelings occured on a regular basis, one could play the lottery and get rich. You heard the old joke about calling a psycic and when he/she inquires who this is, you reply. "You don't know?"
It would be great if we could trust these feelings and divine the ones that are true from fleeting thoughts.

Can't ya just see Bloke on late night TV-

"Do you wonder what the future holds for you?
Dial '1-800-DA-BLOKE' and find out what will be happening next!
First minute free, $5.00/min. after that. All credit cards accepted."

It would pay better than great dent work on skody old horns... ;)

... whereas I'm just the opposite. You'd think I'd notice a little thing like a mountain in front of my racecar. Nope. Instead of seeing the future, I forgot a couple of years! :D

I've had similar experiences, but nothing as clear. Mostly, it is a "hunch" that a person will/won't do a particular thing. On three occasions, in my 22 years in law enforcement, I know it has prevented me from being shot/stabbed or having to shoot someone. Again, nothing tangible, only a fleeting hunch/impression/suspicion that causes me to do something I wouldn't ordinarily do.

Not if people don't use more than 1 minute.
