Hey! What's the meaning of giving an update on something we might be interested in hearing about?!?

Congratulations on your success. May you have many more.

Thank you :D

That was just a little goofy pre-update, though.

The Real Update:

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico.

I've been with Geico for a long time now. I guess I won't be saving any money.

If 15 minutes = saving of 15%, does 100 minutes = saving of 100%?

If a batch of cookies takes 20 minutes at 350 degrees, they should only take 5 minutes at 1400, right?

Sounds like math simple enough for even me. Let's see. With that logic, it should take only a minute at 7000 degrees. Now that would be one hot oven.

Now let me see. If I practice 5 hours to learn....

Just remember that Warren Buffet wants you to pay more in taxes.

Burned??!!?? How could that be? Wasn't our math done correctly? Now I'm hungry for some cookies. What'll I do?

Here's another update: I could just go buy some. I have enough money for that.

Update Update: Update: The thread is now six pages long, and can be officially classified as mildly successful. I'll keep you posted on the status of this thread throughout the week.

Sonofabitch! Oh well, at least I didn't leave the cake out in the rain again.

Are you in MacArthur Park? You know you may never have that recipe again.

They refused to listen to me and shipped it with the wrong mouthpiece.

Hopefully the raincatcher/4th valve expansion pack should help increase sales.

the elephant wrote:Rick, I have spent a lot of time in my life waiting for a bus at Commerce and Soledad. But I am not there at this moment. I just thought that you might need this update to update your virtual corner. Also, just to update you, I used to ride in on the 86 bus to that corner. I have to update you on this: I no longer can guarantee that the 86 route goes to this corner, nor whether the 86 route exists at all these days. I am sorry to update you with information that might have questionable shelf life as update material. But at least you have been updated and I can move on with my life.
As it happens, the 86 bus does not go to that corner. But the 66, 70, 75, 76, 77, 79, 92, and 94 buses do. Just thought you needed an update.

You know, I need to update you on Geico. I found out the hard way that they do the "start 'em low, raise 'em every year" philosophy. I "saved" a few hundred when I started with Geico, and then I SAVED a few hundred when I dumped Geico, after they raised my rates several years running.

Serious update, there.

Oh, and guys, I'm just SO grateful to have gotten all those updates on everything....and to update you on where I"m at, well, I didn't read this thread for a good couple of weeks, and so now I am thoroughly updated as of this afternoon.

the elephant wrote:Time for an enchilada plate and a Dr. Pepper at the Blanco Cafe, which is not on the 86 route (even in 88, which was 20 years ago) so that bit of information has been vetted and updated. Just trying my best to keep you updated.
Just to update you: The downtown location of the Blanco Cafe is on the 6, 20, 26, 30, 32, 34, 36, 42, 51, 62, 67, 68, 96 and 97 routes. Lotsa buses on St. Marys downtown, but you didn't need an update on that.

Another update: I live in Virginia, and cannot go the Blanco Cafe for an enchilada plate and a Dr. Pepper.

Further update: You live in Mississippi, and cannot go, either.

Still Further update: The enchilada plate wasn't my favorite. I always got the Deluxe Dinner. I could not live without the taco and tostada in addition to the enchiladas.

And yet another update: I prefer iced tea to Dr. Pepper when eating at the Blanco Cafe.

I'll update you on the next time I am in San Antonio, so that you can receive an update about eating at the Blanco Cafe, which I can assure you there will be one.

I just checked the ice box and the pantry. We are out of Dr. Pepper.
