Help me out here, my ipod has worked fine for a while and today the screen went white and nothing happens when I push any buttons. What should I do to get it working again or is it gone for good?

Count your losses and get a real music player:

My iPod does that sometimes, and I just let it sit for a few days until the internal clock runs the battery completely down, then when I plug it in, the apple logo appears.

I hope that works for you.

The problem is that Windows operating system they put on the thing.
