I just posted a reply on the adjunct teaching thread, and it got me wondering: how far do you drive for a gig?

If I drive myself, 200-250 tops for a multi-day gig. 150 tops for a one day gig. If I drive that far and it's an evening gig it will require staying overnight.

For most out of town gigs the band rents vans or a bus. We typically don't have to go farther than above and we usually stay overnight unless it's an afternoon gig. Depending on the luck of the draw I may end up driving one of the vans. Customer bears the travel expenses on top of the band's fee.

This pretty well sums it up for me.
