When apartment hunting, do you ask the landlord if you can practice when you are viewing the property or do you not say anything and hope for the best?

Any thoughts or insight is appreciated.

My guess is that 99% of the landlords, when asked this question, would answer "no."

1. Buy a Yamaha Silent Brass
2. Find a place where you can practice at work / church / friends-relatives / etc.
3. Buzz a lot
4. Get an electric bass, keyboard, something you can play late at night with the volume turned WAY down
5. Start saving for a house (with enough of a buffer between you and neighboring houses)
