What uses other than hauling around you tuba have you found for your gig bag?

So far I carried (on bike) a friend 's euphonium (and case) in the accessory pouch with an Eb inside the tuba area.

Used the bag to carry groceries home.

Sleeping bag.

Am I the only one who does this?

I haven't done anything else with the tuba bag as that is the only case that I have for my 983, but I've found lots of uses for the euphonium bag. My favorite use was as a mute bag for my DW tuba mute. It was a perfect fit for it (an altieri euph gig bag). For a while I used it to carry around a big double deck CD-R that was part of my home stereo but that saw regular use with my PA system.

I can fit ALL of my laundry in my Nirschl's bag. Makes trips to the laundry-matt a lot easier

I used to give my kids rides in it when they were little. it was one of those silly daddy things we used to do. They wouldn't fit anymore though.....

I used to hear stories of guys who would carry beer into the dorm in their trombone case. The security guards never thought to check a trombone case.
