No, you've got that wrong. Chuck Norris is the Bloke of the rest of the world.Doug@GT wrote:He's even better than we suspected.Todd S. Malicoate wrote: I've seen Bloke at 10,000 temporarily at least 5 times now.
Bloke is the Chuck Norris of TubeNet?
What about a whole thread? I searched "melophone" in the for sale section (with both one and two "l"s, just in case), and I came up with two hits. Bloke had a whole thread about them, and it ain't there that I can see. Can he do that?the elephant wrote:We know that. But you cannot delete a post that unless it has not posts following it. We have seen him going up and down near the 10,000 mark for a long time now and I am wondering when he will run out of posts that he is able to delete, meaning when will he finally be forced into accepting his "10,000 Post Geek" title?Nick Pierce wrote:I can confirm that he has, in fact, beyond a shadow of a doubt, been deleting posts. I remembered that he tried to sell a bunch of Eb mellophones a while back, so I did a search for it. It ain't there no more.
The fiend!!!the elephant wrote:Joe might be enlisting the assistance of individual posters, requesting that they delete a post here and there to allow him to engage in his nefarious activities. (Keep an eye on the posts counts of others.) He also might be requesting that certain mods delete a thread or two. Maybe. I do not know. I just know that this is pretty amusing to watch.Nick Pierce wrote:What about a whole thread? Note to self: tubenet search engine does not search for partial words, in other words a search for "mellophone" will not locate the word "mellophones."Todd S. Honestly, I have a full-time job...I can't be the accuracy police all day.
You do of course know that this means war.Todd S. Malicoate wrote:Hah! Caught him!
Not 2 hours ago the last post in that thread was Bloke saying, and I quote:
"Got it. Thanks"
Dang, he's wily, that one...
Haven't read it, so I haven no idea if you're being sarcastic or not.iiipopes wrote:A thread about bloke going back and forth across the 10,000 barrier is almost as entertaining as reading the chapter about the show out the window out of The Restaurant at the End of the Universe

OK. Here's a hint: The Restaurant at the End of the Universe is a sequel to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.OldsRecording wrote:Nick Pierce wrote:Haven't read it, so I haven no idea if you're being sarcastic or not.iiipopes wrote:A thread about bloke going back and forth across the 10,000 barrier is almost as entertaining as reading the chapter about the show out the window out of The Restaurant at the End of the Universe![]()
