Limericks, like other poems and jokes are selected, collected, printed and published.
A reader of this collection will enjoy - maybe a small percentage of them and consider the rest to be crap.
Nothing wrong with that.
Some of the offerings on the limeric thread were often bad but there were the good and fun ones as well. Same with the haiku thread.
I most enjoyed writing with my tubenet buddies. The twists and turns writing one line each is interesting and enlightening and sometimes even good.
This can be done with the haiku form as well.
Anybody up for that?
