I know it is way off topic, but my thoughts are with all of the people living on or near the shores of Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas for the next couple of days. Please stay safe!

Our weather forecast is for hotter and dryer weather, so San Antonio is certainly not likely to be included in the good wishes indicated here. I would like to join in that wish for Louisiana, Mississippi, parts of Texas, etc.

The wind was blowing so hard I saw a seagull lay the same egg twice.

Please forgive me for the transgression I am about to commit:
"What a terrible yolk"
Thanks, I guess the therapy isn't working.

We, at the edge of the "right hook" of Gustav, had 132 tornado warnings for Mobile and Baldwin counties. Very few of these touched down. I wonder how many folks were diving into bathtubs and pulling matresses over themselves - having been stampeded by the media.
Tide in the creek rose three feet over my dock. Our boats stayed put.
Only problem we had was loss of our internet "pipe" for 24 hours. Didn't even lose power.
Thank you guys for your kind posts.
We be fine.
