We were planning on a trip to see some relatives this weekend, but they had to cancel on us last minute (some lame excuse about being in jail again.)
So, we took a day trip to Pigeon Forge instead. Jacob likes to ride the Go-Karts, and this time Savannah (just turned 4) was almost, barely, tall enough to drive the smaller vehicles. I figured she would hardly drive and get stuck in the corner, but she surprised everyone and really tore up the track! This is her smoking the competition: (And for those who don't believe she was moving, look at her hair fly!)

Nah. I'm too lazy to wander into popular culture. I just wanted a quick answer, avoiding as many actual details as possible. I do not care for much of popular culture. Googling "Danica" would, for me, be like watching television.
Danica Patrick. She drives Indy cars- like in the Indy 500. She has quite a bit of skill and is one of the first women in Indy car who has a ride that is capable of winning in most every race.

I haven't been following her racing career very closely but figure she should be making headlines if she's winning. Are those 'winning' cars going to waste?
Dan Schultz

Current 'stable'... Rudolf Meinl 5/4, Marzan (by Willson) euph, King 2341, Alphorn, and other strange stuff.

I don't follow it really close either. She's with Michael Andretti's team so she has the good stuff. I think she has won more than once this year.

.
Ken,
It's harder to just be a sex symbol when you're wearing that jumpsuit all the time. Tennis players wear much skimpier clothing. Besides, Anna Kournikova is yesterday's news since Maria Sharapova (who actually wins sometimes) hit the scene.
knuxie wrote:Maria was good before she was popular. Anna was the opposite. And if you compare the commercials each has/had done, you can easily tell the aspect of each gal the commercial focused on. Maria was and is still tennis. Anna was all about her looks.
