Surely Not Politics

I notice where one of TubeNet's regular posters gives his location as "Thinking about how 28 out of 40 years of power makes a party not responsible for the current mess." Realizing that Sean outlawed politics on Tubenet(see Sticky, dated 2/20/06), I have to believe this is either not politics, or Sean wasn't referring to using our address to make a political statement. Since I enjoy being able to participate in TubeNet discussions, I will refrain from making a political response to a location statement, even though I would perceive this "location" as a distortion of the truth.

If something looks "wrong" please use the Report function. It makes it a LOT easier to catch stuff. I RARELY read posts on TubeNet anymore.

It's me and I will take it down if that is the rule. It was a dig at a "location" of Bloke's. I find it ironic that a person on tubenet who does so much to publicize his own politics and religion would be so interested in shutting down someone else's. Having never met you, I know plenty about your politics and religion and have only learned it here on tubenet.
Even in "refraining from making a political response" you were able to do so.
As an aside, I do enjoy your musical points.
Peace.

Here's the deal:
1. The mods can't catch everything unless someone reports it.
2. As long as I have been on TubeNet, folks have pushed the envelope on the "no politics" rule.
3. Every opinion about just about anything social is also political.
4. Political statements will continue to be posted in signatures, links, tiny hidden lightly colored fonts, back handed comments, puns, jokes, avatars and any other way this clever, highly intelligent group of folks can figure out a way to sneak one in every chance they can until the day that Tubenet ceases to exist.
In short, it ain't gonna stop. Get used to it.

And I enjoy yours, too, Arnold. I am quite certain our political views are very different, but if we should ever meet, I believe we could be friends. I will admit I was trying to have a little fun, perhaps at your expense. I must further admit that I didn't realize I did so much to publicize my own politics and religion. Just for the record, any spouting of my beliefs was limited to that individual post. Your "location" post would have lived on every time you posted, if you so chose. Please accept my apology, if you found my post offensive. I actually only intended to play around a little. I do not intend to get into an argument over this.

I gotta agree with you again, Ryan.

I hadn't realized that "somewhere else" would be San Antonio, but I will certainly accept your offer.
Happy New Year!
