Looks like the old lady knows how to have a good time. My grandmother (a violinist and pianist until about a month before her death two weeks short of 100) would have done the same thing!

My kids got Guitar Hero and Rock Band for Christmas, and I must say, the entire family has really enjoyed it. My ultimate goal, however, is to master the bass part to Cool for Cats (by Squeeze) on the 'Hard' level. We've noticed that the drums are the toughest because they actually require some actual percussion technique.

My father's mom, Mable Webb never stopped being beautiful - even into her 80's because she exuded beauty from within to go with all the charm, humor and perfect silver hair.
Saw pictures of her playing guitar and singing for a Forth of July party at her age 18. She was a hottie back then too.

Guitar Hero and Rock Band lines are challenging enough on all parts to provide good rhythm training as well as keeping along with other players.
My grandson has both and is playing better on them rapidly. I question the time spent tightening up a tune on Rock Band, since It isn't that much harder to play a simple tune on real instruments. I showed Casey how to play "power chords" (two stringers) on my Gibson electric guitar to some simple AC/DC tunes. He was surprised how easily he could learn them.
Now I guess I have to leave the Gibson plugged up on it's stand so he can switch on the amp and practice.
Busy planting musical seeds,

You are doing good deeds disguised as just helping someone have fun. That's really cool!
