Hmmmm. I haven't seen it for awhile either. I think CoCola replaced it with Diet Coke. I liked it.

Coke is too sweet for me. I never drank it as a kid so I guess I never developed a sweet tooth for it (or Pepsi).

Best: I've developed a taste for store brand black cherry soda. Most any brand.
Diet Pepsi is good too.

Worst:Mt. Dew Code Red/Other non-Orignal Mountain dew variants (except Livewire)
Best: Coke Zero/Coke (regular). I am quite fond of Coke zero, I drink way too much of it to be healthy.

Coca-Cola is the best. The soda on the far right of this photo (the one with the tuba) is by far the worst. It almost made me vomit when I tried it.

Worst: Big Red cream soda. Tastes like absolute garbage. Once had a 12 pack and I had to basically chug it down to get rid of it. Doesn't even resemble real cream soda.
Best: That stuff from Canada, known as Jones Cream Soda. Expesive, but amazing.

I may be reading your post wrong, but I believe he is talking about the "Big Red: Cream Soda" that is available. It is a variant of Big Red, and IMO, a bad one. If that is the stuff you were referring to, then my apologies.

Back to subject:

Best: I have many that I really enjoy, but I always go for Sunkist if it's available.

Worst: Diet A&W Root Beer. A&W is above and beyond my favorite root beer to drink. However, their diet just about made me vomit the first time I drank it.

Best: Vanilla Cream soda.

Worst: if energy drinks count, Red Bull.

Best: none of 'em, but I drink Dr Pepper far too much

worst: any caffeine free/diet beverage. Colored water with fake flavor??

Worst: Fresca...the lemony version of Tab...mmmm

Finally someone reached back to remember the absolute worst ever. Not quite lemony, but a hint of grapefruit? Definitely no Sugar!

Worst: Any orange soda. I just don't "get" it, if I want orange, I'll buy juice.

I don't know about the best, but the worst was some stuff I don't remember the name of that they gave us on the Coca-Cola tour in Atlanta. They even said it was terrible and they only sold it somewhere in the far east, so it's not available around here. Thankfully.

It took a number of beers to get the taste of that stuff out of my mouth.

Hate to be a "go along with the crowd" kind of guy, but here's another vote for plain-old-Coke as best. Some things really are just that good.

I don't have a vote for worst.

Best: Orange Crush, hands down. Dunk a scoop of French vanilla ice cream in there, and you have yourself one hell of a float.

Worst: Dead tie between TaB and Mountain Dew: Code Red. TaB tastes like ditch water with bubbles and Code Red tastes like carbonated cough syrup. Both are exquisitely nauseating.
