Everyday carry
So, TubeNet. All of you people have jobs or other daily activities. You either lazily sit around or do something that better makes the world. What you all have in common, though, is that you do stuff, and to do that stuff, you need stuff.
So, what does your "everyday carry" (EDC?) consist of? I'm sure we can expect stuff like "cell phone" or "pepper spray", but do you always have that lucky rubber band ball you made when you were a cub? Swiss Army knife? Bowie knife? Your grand-daddy's, tried-and-true, WW2-vintage Colt 1911? Tell!
One thing I always have with me is a bandana. I'll usually wear one as a headband, but I'll tie another one on a belt loop on my slacks. It's a very handy thing to have, especially when playing the tuber (what with all the slobber and all).
Please divulge!

Ipod.
Earplugs.
Kelly Mpc.
Pitchpipe.
Harmonica.
Book of some sort and a notebook.
That's when I have my bag, if I don't (rare), I can make it with just the ipod mini.
Of course, I live where public transportation works or on tour busses and planes.
Peace.

Re: Everyday carry
Generally, I carry around between 238 and 242 pounds!
Other than my cellphone, I usually always carry a small 'Dayminder' that fits in my left-front pocket and a ball-point pen.

Re: Everyday carry
Despite the fact that I lived the vast portion of my life without one, and I don't exactly have a high-powered need-to-be-constantly-in-touch job, I feel very uncomfortable if I am out of the house without my cellphone.

I carry a good pen (too many years working at the office supply store), chapstick, sweet tarts in case my blood glucose goes low, and my med pack with my diabetic supplies.

Re: Everyday carry
Access card for the main building and server room for my primary employer. Access card and rack keys for our hidden "co-location" across town; in the event a disaster takes out our main building we have mirrored data and virtual servers to bring us back online within hours. (We also have a firesafe within the building with 5 weeks of tapes and a safe deposit box with one week of tapes, but I carry neither regularly.)
In the event George Romero was right and Zombies take over some day, I'm headed for the windowless secured co-location and locking my family in the oversized bathroom there.
