not a direct answer, but.....if you have been playing regularly, and have some specific things to be ready for, work them pretty hard, but not crazy this week. if you've been playing an hour or so a day, you can throw down a big day once in a while, and be ok. Think college marching band....two hrs of rehearsal 4 times a week, (not nearly all music) then blow it out all day saturday for game day. Basically don't over do it, this last week. so you are normally recovered for the audition.

Lots of breaks, lots of hydration, lots of deep slow breathing so you don't hyperventilate, lots of focus on fundamentals, slurs, scales, sight reading, etc.

iiipopes has it right.

Remember, you trying to build strength in muscles as quickly as possible.
Treat it in many ways like you were strength building as a runner.

Exercising to failure is only counter-productive.
Work the muscles, but take frequent breaks and stay hydrated.
Keep your goal in sight, and plan to peak on that day, not to be over-tired as a result of your training.
Go slowly, and don't use up your chops rapidly by trying to do too much as you work. This might mean easier music, but so be it.

Break a lip!

Some might disagree with me on this since you only have a week, but....
If your chops are weak (only you know) and you are hitting them hard daily,
you might want to factor taking a full day off during that week.
What you gain in tissue and muscle repair will probably supercede whatever minimal practice gains one day would have brought.
Just be careful when you schedule that day, and work hard before and after it, and spend at least part of your practice time playing very loud and very soft to help build chops.

I have found breaks to produce significant gains afterwards.

When I eat little snacks all day I can really pig out at the buffet...

If I starve myself, I eat almost nothing at the buffet...

It's like a marathon race... practice, then take a break... and repeat that...

You really do need to take a week off to do that...
