Maybe I'm late in all of this, but THE SUN (not the newspaper from San Bernardino by the same name) is notorious for not always being so judicious about such reports. They've been right before (and maybe they're right in this) but I think we should just hear what the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has to say first. I can wait.

When Liberace died in Palm Springs (which is in Riverside County), I had to drive from my home at the university I was attending in Riverside (married student housing) to the school where I taught in Rubidoux and I made the mistake of driving through Downtown Riverside on surface streets. All the streets were jammed with reporters trying to get the story. The Riverside County Coroner made such a big show of this (at a waste of taxpayers' money) that the position of Coroner was soon abolished and incorporated into the position of County Sheriff.

OH. Thank goodness... :|
The same argument can be made about both NYT and Fox News/O'Reilly--That is really the problem today--there is no middle--just extremes.

Actually, he was on a US Airways flight that had a hard landing (blew several tires) in Tampa, and apparently he bumped his head, and later he was found dead at home. Sounds kind of like the way Natasha Richardson died.

And I'm sure the USAirways legal team was relieved to hear that...

A little Michael Jackson joke to lighten your days....

Farrah Fawcett arrived at the Pearly Gates and God asked her what he could do for her having led such an honest life. Farrah asked God to simply make sure the children of the world were safe. Five minutes later, Michael Jackson died.

The old joke was:
What's brown and found inside a baby's diaper?
Michael Jackson's hand.

There is more than enough crass jokes on the net about Michael Jackson--is it really necessary to do them here?? The man is dead, let it go.

Lets exercise some class please.

Nope. The ratings were holding steady (consistently in the top 10) and the show was very profitable for advertising.

Nice try, though.
