Shamless Product Plug

Post by Chuck Jackson »

A while back I asked for suggestions on an iPod docking station. I appreciate all the responses. After doing a little bit of research, I settled on an Altec-Lansing iM310. I am totally blown away in every aspect of this system. I have listened to everything from Bach Cantatas, Chopin Piano music, and as I write "Salome". The unit has a huge sound, covers the entire spectrum of sound very well, and has a rocking low end. It is quite small and portable, AND..................drumroll............it only cost $79. The ONLY unit that sounds better is the Bose high-end station, which is incredible, but for $400 it is well out of my price range. If you are looking for an affordable unit with premium sound, you can't go wrong with the Altec Lansing.
