Wow. Although they are dated today, I loved his films in the day. Kind of a "film-track" to my misbegotten youth. Sad.

The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Sixteen Candles are 3 of my favorite movies ever. I don't care that they are "dated" (They were all released a few years before I was born). Something has been lost in today's comedies, and I know I can always go back to John Hughes' movies for a long, loud laugh.

It is not Christmas Season for me until I have watched his Christmas Vacation. When I hear the opening theme song, that's when I REALLY know it is that time of year.
