Is there such a thing as an emo tuba player?

Personally, I've never actually seen one, although in this vast world I'm sure it must be possible. If anyone has any stories to share I'd be very interested. For those who are not sure what an emo is, they are really emotional people. But many people use the emo style without considering themselves emo. These people listen to rock music with emotional lyrics, wear tight clothing, have black hair straightened over one of their eyes, and wear black eyeliner. A good example is the following music video:

They generally look like this, so inform me if you have any sightings!

About the exact opposite of every tuba player I've ever met.

I think we're sitting on a goldmine here, gents. Low brass/emo fusion is a totally untapped market!
Just think of it: "30 seconds of 'Mars'" (Holst, not Jared Leto), "Panic at the Community Band," "Tooting Back Sunday" (or "Taking Back Sousy")
...the possibilities are endless!

It looks like Emo is more of a trombonist.

The emo thing was always silly.
The heavy metal thing was what I was really talking about. Oy.

Agreed. I can appreciate good hard rock/metal, but this is of the "just keep strumming/kicking the bass pedals as fast as possible" variety. Pass.

It's not as fast as possible. There's quite a good chance that they can go a lot faster. They go as fast as possible within the constraints of the song.
(there was a really good double bass drum song...I think it was either At the Gates or Trivium. Good stuff)
