Never too early to start the national championship predictions.

For this poll, choose TWO options - your two predictions to play for the national championship. I included the AP top 10 - couldn't include an "other" option cause I can't list more than ten options.

I see Texas vs. Florida this year. This is the match we SHOULD have had last year.

Of course, the "Who cares?" option might be best represented by not participating in the poll at all.

Just sayin'.

If someone's feeling is "who cares," can't see why he/she clicked on this thread in the first place. Thread title is pretty self-explanatory.

As for why no "other" option, that is explained in the OP.

Every once in a while I just like to ring somebody's chimes to see who answers the door. All in fun. It's easy to give up on college football when your team sucks and your coach is a jerk. Band's pretty good though. Besides as my grandmother used to say, "You just like to talk to hear your own head rattle."

I would love to see BYU or Boise State play in the Championship, but that just isn't going to happen. Maybe if there was a playoff . . .

Sorry we spoiled your party. As I imagine you know, ours was also spoiled last Saturday by those Cougars from Houston.

I hope you win the rest of your games, including the SEC championship! Your fans that came to Stillwater were fun to hang around with.

No doubt the Bulldog Nation just like to have fun. We are proud and it's all business come game time. But after the game we don't care, win or lose, we'll invite anybody, even opposing fans out for beers and burgers. The fan base here is loyal and we don't go looking for a new coach if we lose. (the same can not be said for the whiners to our north and south who wear their orange when they are winning and hide their colors and call for the coaches head if they lose)

We are very proud of our Head Coach and his staff. He is a class act and no one anywhere can find anything bad to say about Mark Richt. Anyway, great game to Oklahoma State and best of luck with the rest of your season. One advantage to being in the SEC is if you win the conference you can pretty much guarantee a spot in the Title Game. Man I love deep south football...GO DAWGS!!!

I REALLY hope it is an SEC team against Texas in the title game. Texas seems to really step it up against non-conference teams in bowl games...at least the past five years. Does anyone remember that CLASSIC of a Rose Bowl between a USC team that was trying to go for a 3-peat and a Texas team that, on paper and film, seemed WAY out of their league?

I think Oklahoma has lost its right to be considered for any kind of championship. Every time they get some SERIOUS spotlight, they screw up. The only reason Boise State keeps popping up is because Oklahoma choked. Then they got spanked by LSU. They THEN lost decisively to Florida. I mean I'm not complaining...being a Longhorns fan and all....
