Good things keep happening...

I finally got out of teaching in the language school, however, this meant I was unemployed for almost three months. When you're an American foreigner in the Philippines, the word UNEMPLOYED doesn't seem to register. Using the new non-computer technology, I blindly sent my resume (via cellphone text) to maybe 20 different places in Cagayan de Oro. The one place that answered was a Korean international school in need of a band director, choir director, general music teacher, and ESL teacher for Kindergarten. Guess who they got? (Yes, I'm all those things.)
My school in Lugait is still in the planning stages. We're looking for investors. The Philippine Department of Education loves my plan. But will it fly? Time will tell.
After my first payday, I'll finally be able to get out of the cheap hotel. I'm getting cabin fever in there. And Consuelo's is getting really old.
