I know nothing about Texas BBQ... (northeasterner here) , but Gary daffler is my go to guy for repairs. His work is clean, precise, and thorough. His prices are very reasonable too.

What strikes me is that he's not shy about admitting one of my crazed requests is out of his scope or comfort zone. I appreciate that as much as his skillful work!

Anyone in this area should certainly check him out for repairs and limited customizations.

That shop in Dayton is great. It reminds me of the old "New York" music store's that are gone. Full stocked departments, well dressed and helpful staff. A week in Dayton always means restocking valve oil, strings or whatever. Not quite sure how they do it.
