... is there someone on the TubeNet familiar with Frank Holton trumpets from the 1920's? I have an 'interesting' horn that I think might be of significant interest.

Thanks

This one does not bear any model name. The serial number is 74660... probably manufactured in 1923. It's a common old Frank Holton trumpet except for the bell is fully engraved all the way to the crook and it's gold plated. There is also a gold plated two piece Frank Holton 'Heim model' mouthpiece in the case. It's a beautiful horn and just looks to be to be 'something kinda special'.
