1)Berlioz - Le Carnaval Romain

Pachy is out in the carpark fielding calls on his underpriced tuba that is surprisingly still for sale

2)Dvorak - New World Symphony

Waiting Waiting Waiting. Obviously one of those conductors who doesn't like to say when he'll do the slow movement, so Pach-man passes the time on his iphone

3)Mahler - Symphony No. 4

Pachy pounds the pavement looking for grazing pastures

4)Respighi - Fontane di Roma

Finally called to action, and in this one short piece shows his envious colleagues in the fiddles why he earns his $$

5)Vivaldi - Le Quattro Stagioni

Obviously the last comments, begs the question, what is the shoe size of our TNFJ participants? We've got a 13W and 15W both pretty good sized pedals. I'm a small footed Norwegian boy at 8.5 4W, fairly small, but, a rather efficient flipper, I can swim like a lutefisk.

The Tuba Shoes are 13Ws. That is all I need. I do not have such large pedal extremities as you, sir!

Absofreakinglutely.

I feel especially lucky that in some brands, I can get away with only a 14. That's the only reason I don't have to drive to some other state to buy shoes.

So, confessing my absoulute ignorence of orchestral lit, I thought the water key was illustrating "fountains" and the "quatro" in the Vivaldi was hearlded by the display of both shoes and feet.

9 1/2 Wide, demonstrating why cops are refered to as "flatfoots". I suspect I will grow to a 10EEE by the time I retire (my first pair of Rocky duty boots was a 7 1/2 Medium!) The advantage is that I certainly have an off the shelf size...for men's shoes. Not so for ladies...
