Happy Winter Solstice ya all. Sue and I are taking a little break and will be off to Port Townsend Washington, out on the peninsula. It's a regular event for us. Its nice to have a moment and take a little breather, even if it is only for the day. Just curious what other folks around the world do on the 21st of December?

Happy Holidays!

I'm hard at work today, and will also be here on the 25th (regular work day for us), working on TV programs like...

I don't have to use a replica. The real thing is only 15 minutes drive away

I sat here at work and said "damn, it's getting dark early today."

Followed by December 22nd, where I sat at work and said "days are getting longer!"

I do have a question for Herr Oberloh:

As you know, I live in Port Townsend. I read the Port Angeles newspaper nearly every day and, in the "Seen Around" column in today's paper, there was talk of a lone man skinny-dipping on the Winter Solstice at Fort Worden.

The question is:

Was that you?
