I'd like to see the Red Sox win--but in Game 7.

The Cardinals are too good a team to fold so quickly. Besides, if they have a good showing in the WS, it'll lend a modicum of credibility to the 16 game spread between them and the hapless Chicago Cubs.

The ultimate irony, at least for me, will be if the next 4 games and lose.

Once a Yankee fan, always a Yankee fan.

Oh well, at least there's still football. Let's go Jets.

I'd like to see them lose the games in St. Louis and win at home.

Man, the place would go NUTS.

I was in a Boston area bar the day the Pats won the "Snow Bowl" AFC Championship game against LA, and even THEN I couldn't hear properly for about two days afterward.

When (not IF, but WHEN, I am a Sox fan after all) the Sox win, they'll probably have to close Boston for about a week.

Once a Yankee fan, now unable to complete a thought.

Boy, the Red Sox really did a number on you, didn't they?
Yeah yeah yeah...went back and did some retyping of that statement, didn't realize I deleted some words I didn't mean to.

Should have read, "The ultimate irony for me, would be to see the Red Sox drop the next 4 games and lose the series."

All the crap I get from Sox fans over this, it don't bother me none. I've watched my team win it 4 times in the past 10 years, and make it there 6. I really wanted this one more for Don Mattingly, the Yankees hitting coach (and my favorite player of all time). But oh well...there's always next year.

Jeez...listen to me, I'm sounding like a Mets fan...
