I've been to
Anna Liffey's- It's on Whitney. Decent but fairly standard Irish food. Definitely a traditional "pub". Couple TVs, they show sports.
Westside Bar and Grille- On whally/whaley/whalley(?). A lot more sportsbar-ish than Anna Liffey's. Food is decent, but once again nothing fabulous. A lot more TVs than Anna Liffey's, just not quite the same feel.
There is a Buffalo Wild Wings somewhere on church street. It is BW's, so they'll have food and TVs, too. I'm generally against chain restaurants, but if you are closer, it might be worth it.
