Yes.
Just try to be happy that a big company like Yamaha spends its time making low volume professional-grade instruments at all.

It's not just Yamaha.
Getzen and
Kanstul (and others, probably) use the "background brass" term as well.

By the way, I wouldn't be interested in any GUY! It doesn't matter what they are built like. Perhaps we should bring on the equivalent picture of a female for those of us who might appreciate the female form.
