Well?! Anyone on The Board try one out, yet! Does one have to buy this 'special' cardboard box? .... or would just any old box do?

I suspect one could "make doo" with any old box -- in a "pinch" ...

bloke knows to put the dots below the i’s.
Aside from porpoises whales are rare in Danish waters. There have been reports of 6 or so fin whales over the last century. 4 of these have chosen to ground themselves and die in one certain fiord on the east side of our main peninsula, where there are several fiords to select from.
The last sample died this Sunday and was hauled on land same day. Monday the corpse was dissected, certain organs were preserved, and a lot of tissue samples were taken out.
Our zoological museum happens to have one of the largest collections of whale skeletons worldwide, so the bones of this sample will end there also.
There isn’t much high tech in cleaning those bones. They will be placed in a container with elephant dung from Copenhagen Zoo. For nasal reasons no carnivore dung is allowed. There will be a composting process, which will remove the residues of soft tissue. And the heat of the process will force the fats out of the bones.
