So,

Many years ago I started my love afaire with the music of Simon & Garfunkel. I played a little guitar but and LOVED how Paul Simon played and decided to sit down one summer and learn as many of their songs as I could. By the end of the summer, I had over 35 videos on Youtube of myself playing and singing the songs of Simon & Garfunkel. I've decided to try this again! So, request your favourite Simon & Garfunkel song and I will attempt to cover it and will post the link to the Youtube video.

At the Zoo. In a band I was in years ago, we actually played that at the regional zoo for the subscribers' dinner as part of the after dinner concert we gave which was the evening entertainment for the annual fundraising dinner.

59th Street Bridge Song

Why? Because I'm sitting in my apartment in NYC looking directly at the 59th Street Bridge (aka, Queensboro Bridge)! How's that for a reason?

For me, Bridge Over Troubled Waters, I always thought the melody would sound great on trombone. I am very fond of Simon and Garfunkel. My first heavy duty make out session we put all the Simon and Garfunkel LPs on the turntable and let them play while my girl friend and I went at it hot and heavy. We flipped the pile of records a couple of times. This girl friend taught me how to drink hard liquor - Scotch, started me smoking White Owl Menthol tiporillos, and of course the joys of making out. Irony of ironies - we both became ministers.

Just an update:

I've found that when I record only the audio with garageband, the quality is much better, so everything from now on will just be audio, no video!
