IMHO ABSOLUTELY NOT. I found it to be melodramatic claptrap where the two main characters sit around and mull over life in a nihilistic trance that is so stupifying as to be numbing. I think I would have had more fun at a mortuary convention. Some slight interest covering the 1913 opening of "Rite", but other than that, save your money and go see a Metropolitan Opera production on the big screen.
