For me, it all starts next weekend, in Roanoke, Tx. It goes all the way into Nov. I'm looking forward to it.

Ein prosit der gemutlichkeit!

(and, Bloke, I believe it is "schottisches.")

Just came through Germania Mannerchor's 'Volksfest' on August 6, 7, & 8. September has New Harmony's 'Kuntsfest' (love that name!)... three days of German merry-making on the 17th, 18th, and 19th. ... followed by two days in Schmitty's Little Tavern beer garden on the 24th and 25th. October will be another string of stuff for The Rhein Valley Brass to do. Ein Prosit!

You and I know that it's a German version of an 'arts and crafts fair'. But.... you will get more 'hits' by searching for Kuntsfest that if you spell it Kunstfest.

I've not seen it spelled the way you suggest around here. Must be a local thing.
