Hawaii Five-O Theme

Post by iiipopes »

OK, now that CBS is remaking Hawaii Five-O, I'm looking for the Tommy Newsom arrangement of the theme for jazz band. I played it in school (mumble) years ago, and it is a great arrangement. My old school doesn't have it in their library anymore, (Hmm....) and I'd like to get it for the dance band I gig with. Thanks.

this reminds me of a vacation story from a few years back. We went to Williamsburg VA and one day we spent at the AB waterpark there (can't remember the name). They had one of the little brass bands that stroll around the park and they went into the wave pool and waded up to their knees and played Hawaii 5-0. When they finished the alarm sounded and the waves started up. I though that was pretty cool. There was a count down clock at the front of the pool so they knew just how long the arrangement was and when to start playing. pretty fun. Nice water park too BTW.
