Perhaps you guys should avoid railroading your ideas ideas of how to train. You've gotten significantly off the track for the tuba world. I think perhaps your motives are loco.

In '66, I took one of the last L & N passenger trains out of Evansville, Indiana headed back to Navy duty in Pensacola. A great ride. All except for when we passed through a dry county in Kentucky and they chased us out of the bar car!

Current 'stable'... Rudolf Meinl 5/4, Marzan (by Willson) euph, King 2341, Alphorn, and other strange stuff.
They run a reconditioned Mally out of Duluth to Two Harbors in the summer pulling a few passenger cars. I grew up listening to the Mally huff and puff. It really brings back memories.
