This quote was from my son's first troop Scout Master when he realized he had left his winter jacket 180 miles away back at the church while on a winter camp out. He had no jacket what so ever and the temperature never got about 40 during the day and was below 30 at night. Toughest S.O.B I ever met. Never complained once and made do with what had.

My college band director on our many, many basketball/football band trips: "Don't get yourself in trouble, and don't get me in trouble."
