Saw your post about quitting. This is another late April Fool's joke like Schelppy's, right?

Hi tbn.al, thanks for your post.
It's true, sir. I'm 70 and a four hour rock gig has me struggling.
I practiced for two months to get in shape to hang with guitarist John Reno playing three gigs in three days. The music sounded nice and tight and John was happy but videos and photos of me showed an old geezer going full out. After the third gig my blistered mouth looked like it had been worked over by the mafia.
Arthritis in my left index finger causes a problem playing a C chord on guitar if I play a lot.
It's time for me to abandon stage playing and to support my friend John by arranging songs and lyrics and figuring out chords on tunes he wants to play.
I'm going over to John's place tomorrow to caulk his wooden house.
I can still record tracks in the studio on tuba, six string and bass guitar but gigging onstage is for someone younger and better looking.
Passages - here is another. No regrets.

I'm honored you would ask, Joe. Of course, sir. I am a tuba lover for life. I may still post in if I think of something constructive to add.
Many folks on this forum I consider long time friends. I would love to keep in touch.
I'm not putting my tuba down forever or anything. I love to jam. I am no longer seeking paying gigs because I'm not the player I once was. I am expecting a video from this last tour. I'll put it up here when I get access to it.
The post office pays me not to deliver mail. I'm still not delivering any.
