Some things just make me laugh.
I don't want to be mean or anything but COME ON, this is just sad.
First of all, the way it's put together is awful, and the product info is straight from Wikipedia.
the only use for this sousa I could see is teaching kids tuba, but with a small, trombone-like mouthpiece, I just don't see how it would be helpful at all.
The bore is also extremely small and it looks like you have to actually bend down to reach the mouthpiece.
Maybe I'm wrong and It's actually a good horn, but I seriously doubt it. I'd like to see how it plays...just for fun (I have seen a YouTube video of their "22 inch Silver Sounaphon" being "played" :tuba: by the man in the pictures holding the sousaphone and it wasn't pretty. He clearly wasn't a tuba player. The video has conveniently been deleted.)
I posted this so other TubeNeters could not only have a good laugh, but also share your own opinions of the horn. Like I said: Maybe I'm wrong, but I seriously doubt it.

I'm pretty sure Indian popular music uses sousaphones. They probably know more about them than we do. Big country, though.

In the demo video I saw, the case was a flimsy, 5 sided box covered in a thin layer of orange padding. It had no grooves in the padding at all to prevent the horn from moving around while being carried. It did, in fact look like a giant hat box.
I still can't believe they expect to sell one of these.

Oh, there'll be a few who will buy one just because it's "cheap."

I hope they are better at making these than they are at making the Tri-Star euphoniums! I have one of the euphs hanging from my shop ceiling as a reminder to NEVER take one in again... even as a 'freebie'.
