Definitely the second one. Did you know that those Temptation fellows don't even care if you don't play the right notes????

Yeah, but you don't just get to see the woods and the water. At least I don't.bloke wrote:I see enough thick woods and water right out my front door, unca'. I don't need to pay $20 to see it on a "golf course".Uncle Buck wrote:"You're obviously not a golfer."

I don't golf either. Your poll just gave me the urge to quote a movie line. But I'm sure you've never watched that depraved movie I was quoting.bloke wrote:I see enough thick woods and water right out my front door, unca'. And I just discovered I inverted two words of the quote. Damn.

Buck,
Greatest. Movie. Ever.
Ok maybe not, but it's still great.

I choose both. I relish any opportunity to play the tuba.

I agree completely.Doc wrote:I love playing golf, but performing on tuba (paid or unpaid) would take precedence. Unless it's ska music or some other style that is really out of the realm of what I could subject myself to. And since the choice for tuba is either in a practice room or a performance, I'll take the performance. Not much compares to playing for an audience.

Re: blue collar tuba playing
Thought all tuba players were blue collar------------------Foxworthy says you can tell a redneck by all the lawnmowers sitting in the front yard---------------------any of you just have ONE Tuba sitting around the house???????
My tubas are not in the yard but all over the house-------------------the bride loves it
