Trying to find a youtube video

There are/were(?) several videos of a jazz trio on youtube-guitar, drum set, and tenor/bari sax. They were playing on a tv show with a bunch of colorful murals behind them. Very no-nonsense, cool stuff and for some reason I'm thinking it was on a French show. I don't even speak French. 
The sax player looked kinda like that guy who was on that show about the 2 plastic surgeons and all the little dramas and such in their lives.
