You should try the new Bartok solder. Really "snaps!"

They only have one good model, and it is one that copies and makes fun of a much better solderer maker.

Bartok Soldering just couldn't handle Shostakovich Soldering's reputation.

What about putting a smaller buffer wheel on a hand held drill?

How about this:

How do I remove heavy tarnish from inside a sousaphone bell? The buffer can't reach inside and normal hand polishing will take forever or is ineffective.
Even one of those crappy 1/3rd hp buffing motors from Harbor Freight will drive a 6" buff well enough to do the job. They make a motor with one shaft longer than the other that handles lots of small jobs.

Would a drill with a buffing wheel on it work the same as PMeuph has suggested?
I suppose a drill would work. But... you're still looking at more work (and time) than would interest me... especially since I have all the buffing equipment I need! :)
