How to compose a post

I suppose this isn't going to do much good, if only because relatively few people read Off Topic topics, but ... have you ever noticed the posts with links that look like this?
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=51076" target="_blank" target="_blank

I'm talking about that "target=_blank" stuff. Is that lame? Why yes, it is, and here's what you can do about it.

When you put a link to another page in a Tubenet post, you have to bracket it into a URL markup. Like this:

viewtopic.php?f=11&t=51076

It's easy, it doesn't suck, and it's a step towards making you look like a slick operator here on TubeNet.

Yup, like that! Or like this:

Either way, you'll be well on your way to earning the title "Duke of URL" ...

I sort of like the 'lame' posts that use improper English, childish abbreviations, and terrible punctuation. It gives me immediate insight into which posts I should disregard.

(sure hope I haven't spelled anything poorly!)

Well, of course there's lots more to composing a good post.

We could talk for example about external factors. Feeling OK? Tired? Starving? Stressed out by conflicts with someone? Loaded? You want to be able to come back and find this post you're writing in the archives, and not want to erase it or rewrite it. Your odds are much better, if you're in a healthy, alert, normal state when you write it.
