Hey guys, I am a student at The University of Tennessee at Martin and I am looking for a piece by Mozart transcribed for tuba with piano accp. I've taken a look at a couple of pieces and I was just curious to see if any of you had a particular piece that you would recommend. My favorite piece by Mozart is Serenade No. 10 in B-flat, but I have a feeling it wouldn't work so well with a solo tuba and piano because of melody trade offs. I'm certainly ok with duets involving euphonium, tuba, or trombone. I just want to see what some other people have played and get an Idea of some pieces to look into!

The Bassoon Concerto K.191 works pretty well with the piano part "as is." Mostly you just read down an octave with only a few adjustments.

There's a sonata for bassoon and cello (K.292) that works fine as is for euphonium and tuba. A bit high for the tuba playing the bottom part, but not unreasonably so.

There's also a few vocal selections for bass voice that could be easily adapted for tuba.
