In case you were wondering...

Hey everyone, this is Bill on the lovely
island of Guam. Just to let everyone knows what has been happening:
I can't play the tuba until I have some jaw surgery done.
My jaw isn't killing me but it's killing me not to play the tuba. That's why I haven't been able to play tuba here the past couple of years. I have to make a trip down south (Philippines--Cebu and Mindanao) in a few weeks. Will be leaving Guam (permanently) the end of June, ready to start the next page of my life to Needles, California. As many of you know, the Mojave Desert has had some unusually freezing weather this winter--it's not unusual to freeze but it is odd for it to stay freezing any longer than a few hours, save for a few weeks. Haven't heard if they're ice skating on the Colorado River...

Needles hasn't changed much in the past few years, other than an Interstate highway running through the middle of it. Did you know Needles doesn't have one traffic light? All four-way stops. And everyone stops, too. So different from Guam where red traffic lights seem to only be suggestions that motorists and pedestrians stop before crossing an intersection. And it's funny that I mention the cold weather. Here on Guam, I freeze from the air conditioner.
Am now working as a historian/researcher.
