I'm leaving tonight for SA. I will be spending a lot of time at the conventions. Maybe I will see some other college students there... I will be at the CMENC session with the UMHB chapter. Maybe I will see some of you at the tuba booths too.

Well, I could drop about $500 and be there for Friday afternoon and all day Saturday.....but it doesn't seem worth it. Am planning on Vegas this summer, not sure how many of "ya'll" will be there.

Aaaannnddd....I like the thrill rides. I can't do the spinny stuff I could do when I was younger, 'cause I barf now. oopsie. Almost found that out the hard way about 5 years ago at the fair.

I did a big tour of Hoover Dam once (I'm a power engineer) and it was major cool. I was amazed at how much it leaked, though.

The tuba player in Tucson Symphony has a 2155. When Empire Brass was here the concert ended with a march combined with them and the orchestra.....and I could hear the Oom from the orchestral tuba player (Mike Sherline) on his 2155, over EVERYBODY. That thing has OOMPH.
