The date for Evansville, Indiana was just officially announced. I don't know about other locations but the problem here is growing each year. ... just too darned many things competing for time. Ours will take place just a few hours after 'Jinglebones'... the trombone version. I'll be running from one to the other!

(They allow me into 'Jinglebones' with the cimbasso!)

Things are delayed at the TubaRanch, a pipe burst and created a flood. They have been busy cleaning up - that's why the web page has not been updated. It will be back to normal soon!

Perhaps you Richmond-ites were naughty when you should have been nice.

It's the trumpet players that are the naughty ones.

I haven't been to a Tuba Christmas in several years now -- the NYC Tuba Christmas is at the exact same time as the NY Phil Brass Quintet's Christmas concert. My wife has given me tickets to that concert for my birthday for the past several years, and it's an awesome show.

Maybe I'll drive to another TC somewhere else, but they're usually just far enough away to be a full-day committment. I do kind of miss it though.

A relatively short drive will get you to either of 2 TC's south of you. One, in it's second year and 25'ish attendees, is December 15th in Salem County, South Jersey, 1:pm registration, 3:pm performance.
The other is Philly, on December 22, either early or late. The Kimmel Center has limited each performance to 100 players, and is excellent in the 200' high atrium! Both performances are posted on the TC site. We'd love to see you!
