5 things I like about Tubenet! :

1. Having fun "geeking out" about low brass when I have a minute or two...(my 14 year-old daughter would be rolling eyes at this one, but she doesn't need to know).

2. I learn a lot. I learn facts...I learn from hearing opinions...and I can take or leave what I want. Somebody once said "either you get busy learning...or you get busy dying."

3. Bloke

4. Schleppe (thanks for all you do!)

5. [See #1]

Cheers and sleep tight everyone!

What I like about you:
You hold me tight...
Tell me I'm the only one...
You really know how to dance...
You keep me warm at night...
Know you make me feel all right, yeah

Oh, wait, I thought I was in one of my old bands twenty years ago for a moment....

OK, back on target, here are five I really like about TubeNet:

Although, these three aren't bad, either! (the traditional TN pic)

You know. . . After all these years, I just noticed that they're coincidentally posing in order of beer consumption.

I studied your attachment for about 15 minutes. Then I noticed there was a philosophical statement.

I find this offensive. These are not beer girls. They are Beer Maidens.

This is my favorite for two obvious reasons.

Semantics: maid·en /ˈmādn/noun: maiden; plural noun: maidens; noun: maiden over; plural noun: maiden overs
1. archaic literary a girl or young woman, esp. an unmarried one.

Indeed.

I stand corrected. It should be Beermaidens (one word). I believe their names are: Woglinde, Wellgunde, and Flosshilde.

That photo has been around so long that those girls are now hausfrau, probably older than you, and after drinking all that beer probably weigh more!

I like Bloke's post just above. It's just like Bloke to post something that's likely to put a slightly unlikely spin on "like". Sometimes we think alike, like it or not. Also: I liked Ike.

bloke wrote:I am offended about people liking things.

"Liking" indicates that people are discriminating towards just a few things and away from billions of other things, and that's just not fair. It's probably just plain mean. :|
I disagree. It only means that a person has not had the opportunity yet to experience the rest of humanity so that a decision as to "like" or "not like" can be made.

This expresses itself in two ways, the classic and modern.
The classic: (Will Rogers) "I never met a man I didn't like."
The modern: (John Barrymore) "The trouble with life is that there are so many beautiful women and so little time."

How about Cb instead, so neither you, nor your beer, will "be double flat"?

1. The abundance of fascinating musical knowledge.
2. The low brass for sale - I'm always looking to add to my collection.
3. The low brass (and occasionally other) pictures.
4. The instrument reviews.
5. It's a bunch of low brass players. What could possibly be better?
